  • Often preferred for their ability to mask unpleasant tastes or odors.

Tablets

  • May have a slow-release formula, ensuring ingredients are absorbed over time.

  • Can be split in half or crushed (unless extended-release or enteric-coated).

  • Typically more shelf-stable and cost-effective than capsules.

Softgels
  • Gelatin-based shell filled with liquid or oil-based nutrients.

  • Ideal for individuals with difficulty swallowing pills.

  • Allow for flexible dosing by adjusting the amount taken.

  • Often used for herbal extracts, vitamins, and CBD.

Powders
  • Dry, powdered form of nutrients mixed with water, juice, or smoothies.

  • Often used for protein, greens, electrolytes, and pre-workout supplements.

  • Absorbed faster than pills and can offer higher dosages per serving.

  • Customizable dosing but may have a strong taste depending on ingredients.

Creams
  • Topical formulations that deliver nutrients or medications through the skin.

  • Used for pain relief, skincare, or transdermal absorption of active ingredients.

  • Can contain anti-inflammatory, hydrating, or healing compounds.

  • Often combined with essential oils or herbal extracts.
